Kishugu Lowveld Air Show – Dare to Excite
The 2017 Kishugu Lowveld Air Show returns to the Nelspruit Airfield on 13 May to deliver one of the biggest and most adrenaline pumping performances. We dare to excite.
As sure as the wind blows, this year’s line-up of world class pilots will have each and every spectator’s eyes fixed to the sky.
One of the main attractions of this year’s Air Show, is to place the spectators inside the cockpit of the aircraft. Come and see how…
The Kishugu Lowveld Airshow won the Best Air Show Award in South Africa in 2015 and was runner up in 2016. Returning for its 14th show, the Air Show Committee is pulling out all the stops to deliver a programme to remember. “A great deal of planning, hard work and collaboration goes into organising such a large air show,” says Johan Heine, Chairman of the Lowveld Air Show Committee. “But we gladly put in the effort to share the excitement and skill of aviation acrobatics with the Lowveld community.”
“For the past three years Kishugu took up the position of naming sponsor of this prestige event, as it is one of our biggest stakeholder engagement events. Aviation is part of Kishugu’s core businesses as we specialise in aerial firefighting, game lifting and moving, crop spraying, aviation training and maintenance,” Heine said. “We would like to invite businesses in the Lowveld to participate and collaborate during this popular event by becoming sponsors. There are various sponsorship packages available. It is a very good platform to showcase your brand and engage with fellow business leaders and stakeholders.”
Some of the acts in this year’s line-up include the The South African Air Force (SAAF) Hawk Mark 120, The SAAF Silver Falcons, Nigel Hopkins Aerobatics and the Flying Lions Aerobatic Team.
